Where it all started...
In 2011, Tom Lapsing, aged 12, uploaded a video to YouTube entitled "Bitcoins: What Are They". At the time of this video $BTC was at $8. Tom's video outlined what Bitcoin was and how he saw the project growing in the future. Tom gave incredible insight for his age and even touched on topics such as government control over the token. Tom signed off this iconic video by saying "it may be one of the best investments you will make, or it may be one of the worst."

$TPU is a community token comprised of like-minded individuals passionate about sharing Tom's story and growing our own project in his name. Tom's YouTube channel was called TechPodUSA so we thought it fitting to adopt the $TPU ticker. Whilst Tom had the insight to predict Bitcoin at such a young age he was unfortunatley not able to pick some up for himself. Tom has been donated around 12M $TPU from our community with the simple goal of getting Tom that Bitcoin he deserves. Join the movement.
